Hit 500 cars corrected in my garage and the number that shocked me was 3
Five hundred cars over six years in my two bay garage in Boise, and I've burned through 3 polishers. Not pads, not bottles, machines. That tells me everything about how hard I lean on them, and honestly I think most guys baby their gear way too much. Anyone else track their tool lifespan like this or am I just weird?
Wow, three polishers in six years? That is wild. I run a rotary and a dual action and I have only killed one in about four years of doing this. You must be running them hot and back to back all day long to burn through motors like that. I get leaning on your gear but three machines means those things are getting zero rest between jobs.
