Just realized I spent 4 hours on one water spot on my hood in Phoenix
Kept hitting it with vinegar and a clay bar and it laughed at me until a guy at the car wash on 7th said it was hard water etched into the clear. Anyone got a polish that actually cuts that or am I wet sanding this thing?

My neighbor spent a whole weekend fighting one of those on his wife's white Camry, tried everything in his garage. Turned out the sprinkler next door was nailing it every morning so he was basically polishing it back down to bare trouble. Check if something's still spraying your hood before you break out the sandpaper.
