My polisher caught an edge on a 2019 Civic fender in my Garland driveway, and I almost made it worse
Pulled the pad off a curb rash repair too fast and the backing plate bit into the paint right above the wheel arch, leaving a 3 inch gray streak in the clear coat. Instead of panicking I grabbed my 3000 grit and a foam block, wet sanded it down, and buffed it back out over about 40 minutes. Turned out cleaner than the rest of the panel, but has anyone else had a pad grab and go sideways on them like that?
