After 10 years using Snap-on, I switched to Harbor Freight ratchets
Finally got sick of paying $150 for a replacement when the Snap-on 3/8 drive broke again. Bought the Pittsburgh Pro set for $35 six months ago and they've held up better than any of the truck brand ones I ever owned. Anyone else ditch the tool truck for cheaper stuff?

Pittsburgh Pro set for $35" is the real deal. I beat on mine daily and nothing broke yet. Snap-on ain't worth the price for home use.

Man hold on, that Pittsburgh Pro set for $35 is legit but the price is closer to $40 now, not $35. Inflation hit everything. I still agree it's a killer deal though. I've got one in my truck and it's survived dropping, rust, and being used as a hammer more times than I should admit. The only thing I'd say is the ratchet feels a little gritty compared to a Gearwrench, but for the money you can't complain. Just don't expect it to hold up to daily pro use like some guys claim. For home and weekend stuff it's perfect though.
