I was sure my old impact gun was enough until I borrowed a Milwaukee M18 Fuel
I had this old corded impact that I thought did the job fine, especially for stubborn lug nuts on trucks. Then my buddy lent me his Milwaukee M18 Fuel 1/2 inch for a suspension job on a Silverado, and the difference was crazy. It had way more torque, was lighter, and didn't need a cord, which made getting into tight spots around the rear axle so much easier. Anyone have a go-to cordless brand for heavy duty stuff, or is Milwaukee the top dog for you too?

Know that feeling. Borrowed a buddy's Fuel to pull a stump winch and it made my old corded one look like a toy.

My uncle's shop has used the same corded impacts for twenty years on farm equipment. They get the job done without needing a bunch of expensive batteries that die in the cold. It feels like we're all getting sold on the newest thing when the old tools still work fine. I get the convenience, but for most weekend jobs, is it really worth the huge price jump?
