Learned that the hard way with a $600 transmission flush
Took my 2012 Ford Focus to a quick lube place for a transmission flush instead of just a drain and fill. Three weeks later the trans started slipping, cost me $600 for a rebuild after shops told me the flush probably pushed debris into the wrong places. Has anyone else had a shop suggest a flush on a high-mileage car and regret it?
