Switched from a generic OBD2 scanner to a Matco MD102 and the difference is night and day
I mean, I used a basic $80 scanner from the parts store for years, but it would just give me a code and I'd be stuck guessing. The MD102 gives you live data, freeze frame, and even service resets for stuff like oil lights. It paid for itself on one job where I found a bad cam sensor the cheap tool missed. Anyone else have a scanner they swear by for quick diag?
