TIL a $4 can of brake clean saved me from pulling a trans on a '09 Civic
Customer said his shifter was grinding into 3rd so I was ready to yank the gearbox, but my lead tech told me to hose down the linkage bracket first and it was just gunked up. Has anyone else had a cheap cleaner job turn into a no-wrench fix like that?
