I've torn down three 3.5 EcoBoosts at my shop off Route 9 this winter where the owner swore they used the right oil, and every single one had sludge packed in the phaser screens because somebody topped it off with 5W-30 to save four bucks a quart, so has anyone else caught this happening or is it just the quick lube places around here?
