A guy at the parts counter in Fresno said my brake job wasn't the problem, and he was right
Went in last Tuesday for pads and rotors because my pedal felt soft, and the guy behind the counter asked if I'd bled the lines since I bought the truck 2 years ago. I said no, and he just nodded and sold me a $9 bottle of fluid instead of the $180 in parts I came in for. Bled all four corners in my driveway that night and the pedal came back rock solid. Kind of bugs me that I had my head down ready to throw money at it before checking the cheap stuff first. How do you all decide when to swap parts versus just doing basic upkeep?
