I want to get my winter tires off the ground and saw the motorized lifts from Ace Garage Storage. I'm pretty handy so I don't mind the DIY aspect. Are they worth the money?

I put mine up last month. Just take your time finding the center of the ceiling joists. Once the brackets are up, the rest of the assembly is a breeze.

Totally worth it. I have 2 actually. I keep my winter tires and holiday decorations on them. The lift operates smoothly and the safety features give me peace of mind.
