Finally gave up on jack stands for my truck and switched to ramps, and wow
Spent 45 minutes last Saturday fighting to get my Silverado up on two jack stands just to do an oil change, and my neighbor walked over and asked why I wasnt just using ramps. Bought a $70 pair of plastic ramps at the auto parts store on Route 22 and had the truck in the air in 3 minutes flat. Anybody got a reason I should still keep the jack stands around or are they just garage clutter now?
