Hit 50,000 miles on my project car yesterday

I've been rebuilding a 1992 Civic hatchback for like 3 years now and I finally rolled over 50k on the new swap. That number hit different because I did all the work myself - the D16Z6 motor swap, the wiring, even the alignment with a tape measure in my driveway. Anyone else track their post-build mileage like a weirdo or just me?

Yeah the tape measure thing is a solid example of how the little details stack up to make something feel right. I've noticed that once you start paying attention to alignment and spacing in everyday stuff, you cant unsee it. It's like a hidden layer of quality that most people skip but the pros always nail.
