I read in a 2021 Car and Driver study that only 32% of home mechanics own a torque wrench, and after watching my neighbor's wheel fly off on I-95 last month because he just used an impact gun, I think that number should be way higher, so am I crazy for thinking every DIY garage needs a $40 torque wrench before anything else?
