Just realized people are torquing lug nuts with the car still in the air
Saw a guy at the AutoZone on Pico last Saturday spin his wheels while they were hanging off the jack, and I had to tell him the torque spec only counts once the tire is on the ground or you'll warp the rotor and still lose a wheel on the 405, so has anyone else caught this happening at their local parts store?
