Straight pipe on my old F250 sounded great, but the drone is killing me

Cut the muffler off my 1997 F250 last Saturday with a sawzall, figured it'd be all rumble and no regrets. Drove 40 miles to grab parts and my ears were ringing by the time I got back, plus the wife won't ride in it anymore. Anyone found a cheap way to kill the drone without putting the stock muffler back on?
