Tried ceramic coating my truck myself after years of using wax

Spent about $60 on a ceramic kit versus $40 for a good wax, and wow the difference is crazy. My truck stayed cleaner for 3 weeks after a rain vs maybe 3 days with wax. Anyone else made the switch and noticed the same thing?

Blew a fuse in my garage trying to cure the coating with a heat lamp.

Did you try using a hairdryer on it first to see if that helped the curing?
