Unpopular opinion: the $28 vacuum bleeder I got at a swap meet in Dayton is worth more than my pressure bleeder
I know most guys swear by pressure bleeding, but hear me out. I grabbed this little hand pump vacuum bleeder at the Dayton swap meet last spring for $28 and figured it would be junk. Turns out it let me do the brakes and clutch on my truck by myself in about 40 minutes, no pedal pumping and no helper yelling at me from the driver seat. The pressure one I bought years ago for over $100 still needs a good seal at the reservoir or it makes a mess everywhere. Has anyone else found the cheap hand pump actually beats the fancy setup, or did I just get lucky with this one?
