Vent: My Harbor Freight jack failed on my 2020 Civic in my own driveway
Last Thursday I was swapping summer tires in Portland and the floor jack just gave out under the passenger side. It dropped the rotor onto my hand and I lost a good chunk of skin before the stands caught it. I bought that 3-ton model back in April and it worked fine twice, but the seal blew without any warning. I always thought driveway work was safer than the road, but now I'm double checking the stands before I even touch the lug wrench. Has anyone else had a jack fail like that after only a few months of light use?
