Finally got a 767 pitot static test done in under 45 minutes today

Made sure the static ports were clean and dry before starting? Skipping that one step can add twenty minutes of troubleshooting if you get a bad reading. Also helps to have a second guy on the ground watching the test set while you're in the cockpit. Cuts down on the back and forth on the intercom.

Oh for sure, @pat360, because nothing says "fun day at work" like realizing your static port was just a little too moist and now you're chasing a ghost reading for half an hour. I swear, I once spent forever rechecking the test set only to find a spider had built a condo in there. And yeah, having a second guy on the ground is nice until they start narrating every single number back to you like you forgot how to read. Suddenly the intercom is just a bad podcast and you're both stuck in it.
