I get what she's saying but I don't think fixing a box is the same as making the whole thing work right. You're still patching up something that someone else already built. @the_miles probably knows what I mean, you can slap a bandaid on something but that doesn't mean it's actually good. I'd rather build my own system from scratch than try to fix someone else's broken one. It's just a different kind of work and people need to see that.
