My lead tech told me to always check the cannon plug first. He was right.
Spent three hours last week chasing a phantom comms fault on a Citation. Traced wires, swapped boxes, the whole deal. My lead just walked over, pointed at the cannon plug on the belly, and said 'Check that first, always.' One pin was pushed back. Fixed it in ten minutes. Anyone else have a simple rule that saved them a ton of time?

Wait, you think that's the simple stuff? That first step is a total nightmare to get right. I spent three hours just on that part last week. If that's simple, I'd hate to see what you call hard.
