Noticed our avionics bench runs cooler with LED task lights.
Switching to LEDs cut our power use and the bulbs last way longer.

Nice, same thing in my garage shop. The heat drop was clear and my power bill thanked me.

Hey, that's interesting... what kind of insulation did you go with in your garage? I'm curious how much the temp actually dropped, like did you measure it before and after? And how long did it take for the power bill to show a difference? I've been thinking about doing something similar but worried about the upfront cost.
