Old school crimp tool vs the fancy new one, no contest
Been fighting with a $400 battery powered crimper on D-sub pins all week at the hangar in Tulsa. Swapped back to the manual ratchet tool my old lead left me, the one with the worn handle tape. That cheap thing gives me way better feel on the wire, zero crushed barrels, and I finished 60 pins in half the time. Anyone else ditch the expensive gear and stick with the basic hand tools that just WORK?
