That pinout diagram I trusted last month was wrong, cost me a full day on a King Air 200
Turns out the 1985 wiring schematic they gave me matched a later serial number, and after chasing a dead #2 VOR indicator for 6 hours I finally pulled the connector and there was a pin 22 vs 23 swap, anyone else run into old manuals that quietly changed revisions without a note on the cover?

This kind of stuff is everywhere once you start looking for it. I bought a used truck last year and the owner's manual had two different fuse box layouts depending on build date, no note anywhere, just a quiet change mid-year. Even my kid's school supply list got updated online without telling anyone, so half the parents showed up with the wrong notebooks. Companies treat revision changes like they're no big deal, but for the person holding the wrong paper it's a whole wasted day. The fix is easy too, just stamp the damn cover with the date and serial range, but nobody wants to pay someone to do that.
