Man that must have been something, I got caught above treeline on the Winds in July and it was absolutely terrifying.

Oh wow, that sounds intense... I actually just read something from a weather blog about how fast storms can roll in above treeline out there. They said it's one of the most dangerous spots for lightning strikes in the lower 48. Makes my stomach drop just thinking about it. Glad you made it down okay...
