Just realized most people overpack for the Three Sisters Loop

I've done the loop in Oregon four times now, and I keep seeing folks with huge packs struggling on the climbs. Last weekend, I met a guy carrying a 65-liter pack who said he brought a full camp chair. I told him I do it with a 38-liter pack and a base weight under 15 pounds. The lighter load makes the 50-mile trip way more fun, not just a slog. Has anyone else cut their pack weight for that route and noticed a big difference?

Seriously, why bring a chair?

My dad took a camping chair to a concert once and it was honestly genius.

Ugh, it's like people overpacking for a weekend trip. They just can't let go of that "just in case" stuff.
