I drew my cat at 2am with a dying marker and now my fridge looks haunted
Last Tuesday I couldn't sleep so I grabbed an old dry erase marker and tried to sketch my cat Muffin on the fridge door. His ears came out looking like broken triangles and one eye is way up on his forehead, but I hung it up anyway with a magnet. My roommate came down at 7am for coffee and jumped because she thought something was staring at her from the kitchen. The weird part is I kind of love it now and I refuse to erase the little guy. Does anyone else keep their worst midnight doodles up just because throwing them away feels wrong?
There's actually a study I read about how people get weirdly attached to their own bad art because the memory of making it matters more than how it looks. The fact that your fridge ghost scared your roommate just makes it funnier and more special. Keep the haunted Muffin, some things are too good to toss.
