PSA: I sketch at 2am with the TV on and my best garbage comes out when I'm not trying
Last Tuesday around 1am I was half watching old poker reruns and doodled a cat with human hands holding a sandwich, and honestly it came out funnier than anything I've done on purpose. So my buddy Marcus says the trick is being too tired to care, and that's the secret. But I tried the same thing on a Saturday afternoon after 3 hours of sleep and it just looked sad, not funny, so maybe the clock matters too. Is it the late hour that does it, or the fact that your brain is fried and stops judging every line? I think it's the not caring part, not the clock, but I want to hear from people who draw at 6am instead. Drop your story below, I want to know if anyone gets good junk in daylight.
