Spent $40 on a 99 cent store marker set, my 3am owl looks cursed

Last Tuesday I couldn't sleep and decided to draw a owl from memory with this cheap marker pack I grabbed while checking out at the grocery. The green and brown colors bled together so bad that the owl ended up looking like a melting swamp blob with one giant eye. I think it's the funniest thing I've drawn all year, even though my wife asked if it was a potato with a beak. For $40 I could've bought better paper instead, but now I'm kinda hooked on how unpredictable these pens are. Has anyone else had a cheap supply purchase make their bad art even more hilariously bad?
