Spent $80 on one of those fancy 'paint by numbers for adults' kits and it came out looking like trash

I got it from that website that always pops up in ads, you know the one where they show a perfect sunset over a lake. The canvas was printed wrong, the colors were all off, and after 4 hours I had this blob that looked like a muddy parking lot. My wife said it was 'abstract'. I called it a waste of a Saturday. Anyone else get burned by those overpriced kits?

Oh boy, another victim of the internet ad trap. I mean, it's a paint by numbers kit, not a life choice. You didn't accidentally buy a timeshare.

Oh come on, "not a life choice"? Tell that to the 47 step by step numbers I'm staring at right now. This thing is literally telling me where to put every single brush stroke, that's a commitment.
