Drove through Flagstaff and the interstate map lied about the exit ramp

Was heading to a job near the airport last Tuesday and my GPS showed a straight shot onto Route 66. Got there and the ramp turns into a sharp left with no warning sign, almost ended up in a hotel parking lot. Pulled over and checked the actual state map on my phone, the old paper one had a bend marked but the digital version smoothed it out. Made me wonder how many people miss that exit daily. Anyone else caught a map that just ignores a real curve like that?
