Found a map of the US where they moved Texas and Florida

Stumbled on a map online that had Texas sitting where Montana should be and Florida jammed in next to South Carolina. Took me a solid 15 minutes of staring before I figured out it wasn't just bad coloring. The person who made it apparently redrew state borders for fun but kept the names the same. How does something like that even happen? Has anyone else seen a map that literally moved whole states around for no reason?

Did they just wake up one day and decide geography was optional?

Wait, is it possible the map was just part of some alternate history project or a weird voting district experiment? I actually find stuff like that kinda fun to study, even if it makes your brain hurt at first.
