I used to think all fold-out maps were perfect until that one from 1997
Was organizing my glovebox yesterday and pulled out a New York State road map from 1997. The fold lines were so worn that the highways split apart into three different sections, made planning a route impossible. Has anyone else found an old map that was just completely useless by today's standards?

Actually, 1997 maps were great, the real problem is you kept folding them differently each time.

I once refolded a map so many times it looked like origami of a dead bird. Ended up just tearing out the section I needed and taping it to the dashboard. Probably explains why I got lost in that same Target parking lot three times in one afternoon.
