oh man hard disagree here. those maps are literally the only reason I didn't get totally lost when I visited New Orleans last year. the cartoon buildings make it way easier to spot landmarks compared to those boring standard maps that all look the same. plus they got that old school charm that matches the city vibe perfectly.

yeah @felix385 that's actually a good point about the landmarks thing, I never thought about how the cartoon buildings help with navigation especially in a city like New Orleans where the streets are all over the place. the old school charm thing is spot on too, those maps feel like they belong there way more than some generic GPS printout.
