Spotted a map of Ohio where Cleveland was placed near the Kentucky border
I was looking at some antique store find in Cincinnati and this map had Columbus in the top corner like it was Lake Erie or something, just how do you mess up a state shape that bad has anyone else seen a map that got a city way off?

Three different times I've seen maps that put Toledo down near Cincinnati and just shook my head. There was one at a gas station outside Dayton that had the Ohio River cutting through Akron like it was some kind of river town. I picked it up and held it at arm's length thinking maybe I was reading it wrong. Nope. Just bad map making. It really makes you wonder if these people ever looked at an actual map or just heard the state names and guessed.

Is it a map or a fever dream at that point?

Ha, honestly I kinda get it though. If you're staring at a distorted map long enough sometimes your brain just gives up and guesses where things go. Like maybe the person who made it had never been east of Indiana and just threw Cleveland down there hoping nobody would notice.
