That map of Chicago's 'L' stops at my hotel lobby was completely backwards

I was staying at the Palmer House last weekend and they had this big map of the train lines... north was pointing to the bottom right corner. Tried to get to Wrigley Field and ended up two miles in the wrong direction before I realized. Has anyone else seen hotel maps that seem intentionally confusing?

Man, that's rough. Hotels probably think it looks artsy or whatever but it just makes it useless for anyone actually trying to get somewhere. Seems like they'd be better off with a simple, straightforward map instead of trying to be clever with the design.
