That map of Florida with the panhandle drawn as a separate state still pops in my head
I was scrolling through my mom's old photo albums last night and she had this road atlas from 1993 where someone had literally drawn a line through the middle of Florida and labeled the panhandle as 'West Florida.' It was so bad I almost laughed out loud at 1am. She said she used that map for 10 years before she realized it was wrong. Makes me wonder how many other maps from back then we just accepted without question. Any of you guys ever find a map that was just straight up wrong in a funny way?

West Florida" honestly makes more sense than what we have now, i always thought the panhandle should be its own thing until i actually visited and realized how connected everything is down there.
