The mall map that sent me on a 3 mile detour for a pretzel
Got trapped in that giant mall outside Columbus last weekend, the kiosk map had the food court marked on the wrong end of the building so I walked 20 minutes past the Apple store for a soft pretzel that was actually right behind me. Is a slightly off anchor point worse than a totally missing legend, or are we all just doomed to wander either way?

Getting lost is half the fun til you just want a salty snack, but honestly the real problem is those maps are drawn for the stores not for people. They show you where the anchor stores are, like damn department stores that nobody walks to, but they can't figure out the food court is a destination. Next time just follow the smell of Cinnabon and skip the map entirely, your nose beats any kiosk ever made. Also whoever made that map probably never even walked the building, they just threw the food court on there from an old blueprint from 1995. That's your real issue, outdated info disguised as helpful, way worse than a missing legend.
