Tourist map of Paris I bought last month forgot the Eiffel Tower

I picked up one of those fold-out tourist maps at a gas station outside Paris for 8 euros. Used it for three days to get around and kept wondering why everything felt off. Turns out they literally left the Eiffel Tower off the whole map. Anyone else get a map that's missing a major landmark?

I read somewhere that some map companies do this on purpose as a sort of anti-piracy trick, leaving out a big landmark to catch knockoffs. If that's true, it's a weird way to mess with tourists, especially for 8 euros. Still seems like a pretty big thing to just "forget.
