That old 1999 'DVDs will flop' article got me thinking
I used to laugh at the guy who wrote that DVD would never catch on because VHS rentals were too convenient, but then I found my own stack of Blu-rays I haven't touched in 6 years while everything I watch is streaming. It hit me that every tech prediction is just someone guessing from their current habits, not the future. Anyone else keep an old prediction they were dead wrong about, or am I the only one who still has a physical media shelf collecting dust?
