18 months of wrong polarity on my speaker setup
Finally figured out why my stereo sounded hollow. Was wiring both speakers with the same polarity from the amp but opposite from each other. My buddy with an SPL meter at his shop in Austin ran a sweep and showed me a 9dB dip around 120Hz. Embarrassing since I installed car audio for 3 years before this. Anyone else run a whole system with inverted phase and just live with it?
