Serious question, my wire nuts kept falling off until I switched to Wago levers
Rewiring the outlets in my 1978 garage in Toledo was a nightmare for a full weekend. The twist-on nuts kept coming loose on the 12 gauge wire, and one junction got so warm it melted the tape I wrapped it in. I grabbed a pack of Wago 221 lever nuts for the last two boxes, and they clamped down solid in about 5 seconds each with zero guessing about how much copper to strip. Is it just me, or do these lever connectors hold way better than the old twist kind? Curious if anyone has run into a downside with them over time.
