Spent 6 hours trying to fix a flickering lamp, it was the dimmer switch all along

Finally traced it back after replacing the socket, the wiring, and even the bulb, the dimmer was rated for 600w but our 3 bulbs only pulled 90w total, so it kept clipping. Has anyone else had a dimmer act up with LED bulbs that just didn't make sense?
