Warning: I zip tied my PC cables into one big bundle and my temps dropped 8 degrees
My cable mess was blocking the front intake fan on my case for 2 months and I never noticed until a buddy pointed at it. I spent 4 bucks on zip ties at Harbor Freight and grouped everything along the back panel instead of letting it hang loose. Did anyone else's airflow fix turn out to be this dumb simple?

Zip ties help keep things neat but they are not what dropped your temps. Moving the cables away from the front fan is what did it. Air could finally get through, that is the real fix. You could have used twist ties from a bread bag or even a shoelace and gotten the same 8 degrees. The ties just hold the new spot so it does not flop back into the fan again.
