Grandma's recipe card had no measurements, took me 20 years to get it
Found her handwritten card for apple coffee cake last month and it just said 'flour, sugar, butter, etc' with zero amounts. I spent 4 tries guessing ratios before I realized she always baked by feel, not numbers. Anyone else ever get a family recipe that's basically a riddle, how do you crack it?
