Just realized my cheap grocery store yeast works just fine for sandwich bread

I spent months buying expensive instant yeast packets online because everyone said the store brand was hit or miss. But last week I grabbed a jar of the store brand for $2.50 and my sandwich loaves came out perfectly tall and soft. Has anyone else had good luck with basic yeast brands?

Oh come on, is it really that deep? I mean yeah, sometimes the no-name brand is fine but I've been burned enough times to know better. Cheap stuff works exactly the same until it doesn't and then you're left with a mess and a headache. You get what you pay for most of the time, especially with anything mechanical or electronic. But I guess if we're talking like, ibuprofen or paper towels then sure, knock yourself out.
