Client feedback about beard lineups changed my whole approach

A guy in his 60s came in last month and told me I was cutting his beard line too high, said it made his face look longer than it is. I've been doing the same fade style for almost 8 years and never really thought about face shape before that. After he left, I started paying closer attention to jawlines and cheekbones on my regulars, and it's made a real difference in how the cuts sit. Anyone else get pushed to change their technique by a client's words?
