Client walked out mid-fade last friday and I still cant shake it off

Last friday, 3:30pm appointment, guy sits down, we chat about sports, normal stuff. I do the clipper work on the sides, everything is going smooth. I reach for the trimmers to clean his neckline and he just stands up, throws the drape on the floor, and says "this aint what I asked for" and walks out. Didnt even pay. My chair was booked solid all day, so I couldnt chase him. Thing is, I did exactly what he described when he sat down. I even repeated it back to him. Has this happened to anyone else where the client just ghosts mid-service? How do you handle the rest of your day after that?

Happened to me about two years ago with a woman who wanted a "soft shag" but clearly meant something else entirely. I just took a ten minute walk to clear my head, then came back and told my next client, "If you're happy so far, we're on the right track." That little check-in saved the rest of my day, and I still do it with every new face now.
