Clipper or scissors on the sides, and I picked wrong for 6 months
A guy sat in my chair back in March and asked for a taper on the sides with a lot of texture up top. I grabbed the clippers out of habit, guard on, and buzzed my way up. He didn't say a word, but when I turned him to the mirror his face kind of dropped. Next time he came in I used shears over comb for the whole side and it took me 25 extra minutes but he booked his next three cuts on the spot. Cost me nothing to try it, just my own stubbornness. Any of you switch a regular over to scissor work and have it change how they tip?
